The Women Parliamentary Caucus will hold the annual Khadija Tul Kubra Awards 2021 ceremony on 3rd December 2021. This year we are celebrating the prodigious contributions of women with disabilities in collaboration with the National Assembly and United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA).
Honorable Asad Qaiser will present the awards to resilient, resourceful women with disabilities whose personal and powerful stories reflect the challenges and tough experience by the millions of people facing discrimination by conflict and recent COVID-19 pandemic.

Who We Are
Women Parliamentary Caucus is gearing up to honour the Prodigious Contribution for Empowerment of Women with Disabilities in Pakistan. Khadija tul Kubra Awards! On 20th MARCH 2018 at Ramada Hotel, Islamabad!
An award with the title of a woman who was the wife of our Prophet (PBUH), whose courage, righteousness, and perfection in all relationships made her a role model for all women, and a successful business woman. The Award recognize and honour the achievements and contributions of Women with Disabilities that provide support, leadership, advocacy, service and education to increase the social, economic and civic participation of women with a disability.
















Criteria:
We are looking for women or girls with disabilities who have made impactful, lasting contributions to the empowerment and well-being of women with disabilities during COVID-19 crises. Nominees may be community volunteers or staff with a local, national, or international organization.
The deadline for nominations is, November 20, 2021.
Candidate criteria:
Candidates should be individuals who have developed or implemented successful programs that serve women, children, or youth who are contributing to the empowerment and well-being of women with disabilities during COVID-19 crise
Candidates may live in Pakistan.
Candidates should be comfortable to travel to Islamabad in such short notice
Candidates should be able speaking on camera and have access to the internet, as we will be pre-recording a speech, interview, or moderated conversation.
